Semitrailer Goes Off The Roadway Knocking Out Power

LAKE SHORE—A semitrailer went off the roadway and crashed at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday on upper Cass County Highway 77 in Lake Shore.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the semitrailer was westbound on Highway 77, when it went off the road in front of Zorbaz off Lost Lake Road. The semitrailer hit power poles and the guardrail before coming to a stop. The driver of the semitrailer was not injured.
The state patrol will conduct a commercial vehicle inspection on the semitrailer.
The Nisswa police and fire departments assisted the state patrol at the scene. Minnesota Power was called to fix the power line and restore power. Zorbaz's power was out, but the restaurant reported power was back on by 5 p.m. Tuesday.
