59-Year-Old Brainerd Man Charged With Felony
BRAINERD- A 59-year-old Brainerd man is accused of pushing a victim to the ground twice and strangling her.
According to the probable cause document filed in court, the Brainerd Police Department was called at 12:29 a.m. Saturday to a report of a physical domestic assault that had just occurred at a home in Brainerd. The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office 911 dispatcher advised police the anonymous reporting party stated they received a call from the victim, who said she had just been thrown to the floor by Keith Alan Ellingboe.
Ellingboe made his first appearance Tuesday in Crow Wing County District Court in Brainerd in front of Judge Earl Maus. He was charged with felony domestic assault by strangulation and a gross misdemeanor stalking charge with intent to injure. His next court hearing was scheduled for March 6 and he was released from jail on his own recognizance.
