Thursday's events for the Aitkin County Fair

The second day of the Aitkin County Fair is for the family with 8 o’clock opening the gates for Family Day. 

The 4-H-ers will be center stage starting at 9 o’clock with the Rabbit Judging followed by Open Class Rabbit Judging. Dairy and Dairy Goat Judging will start at 10:30 followed by the Open Class. The Open Class Horse Show Game opens the afternoon with the Sheep, Swine, and Beef Show at 1pm.

Loraile Robinson will have a baking demonstration at 11 o’clock, at noon will be the Open Class Judging of Yeast Breads, Quick Breads & Muffins, followed by the Open Class Judging of Pickles at 6pm in the Creative Arts Building. The Watters Pavillion will have entertainment including Second Wind Harmonics at 11am and Tongue and Hand Pan Artist Chuck Perry at noon. 

The Home Activities Building will host the Outstanding Senior Citizen Presentation at 1pm. The Kid’s Pedal Tractor Pull is at 6pm, with sign-up at the Midway Concourse for boys & girls ages 4-11 and no-entry fee.
