Operation Christmas phone lines are open for scheduling

Phone lines are open to families today in Aitkin County to schedule shopping appointments with Operation Christmas. Parents, with appointments, can select gifts for their children age 0-18 at no cost to the family. Jim Carlson, who has been with Operation Christmas for over 20 years, says this program fills a needed void in Aitkin County.

Toys are gathered together at the 40 Club from December 10th through the 12th, and parents can shop hassle free.

Donations, whether cash or toys, are greatly appreciated.

We asked Jim, where can people drop off donations in Aitkin County?

Toys and gifts for the wide range of kids also provides a unique challenge.
