McGregor City Council Meeting from March 23rd
The McGregor City Council convened Monday night to inform the public of what offices and organizations remain closed as part of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mayor Dake Olson spoke on preparing and equipping the McGregor Ambulance Department with Personal Protection Equipment.
The annual State Aid agreement was signed by the Council for the County Road 8 project.
Mayor Olson also made a proclamation making April “National Child Abuse & Neglect Prevention Month” in the City of McGregor. The City office also approved a sign made by Glen’s Sign Dezine.
The Council is also working on setting up virtual meetings for the future.
Olson also brought up summer cabin and lake goers flocking from the Metro to flee COVID-19.
The next McGregor City Council meeting is yet to be determined, with the continuing restrictions related to COVID-19.
