Representative Lueck's weekly update
By Paul Vold firstname.lastname@example.org (6/29/20)
(Aitkin, MN) --- District 10B State Representative Dale Lueck returned this past Friday, well over a week removed from the adjournment of the Special Session. Of the notable bills and legislation that did not make headway included Police Reform, a State Bonding Bill, and COVID-19 Relief, there was significant movement during the Session.
Representative Lueck spent the early portion of the week updating constituents at the county level.
The Police Reform bill didn’t get a warm reception at the House level.
The good news out of the Session included the $841-million of federal CARES funding for the entire State, despite Lueck’s dismay about the timing of the money.
Lueck also spoke about the ongoing troubles with Enbridge and its local impact.
Permits for the pipeline continue to be contested.
We thank Representative Lueck for his weekly update.
