President of Nisswa Chamber of Commerce Resigns

(NISSWA, MN) -- According to a notice sent to all Nisswa Chamber members, Chamber President Amanda McGregor has resigned from her position. The full text of the notice is below:
"On June 24, 2020, Chamber President Amanda McGregor submitted her resignation to the Nisswa Chamber Board of Directors. We, the Nisswa Board of Directors, would like to take this opportunity to thank Amanda for her dedication to Nisswa during her time, are supportive of her decision and wish her the best in her future endeavors. Amanda’s last day was Friday, June 26, 2020.
"We would also like you, our members, to know that the Board of Directors is already taking action to make sure our strong Chamber transitions smoothly during this time. We will soon be posting the Chamber Director position to the public. At that time, we will begin our review and hiring process. It is our priority that the Chamber and the community continue to flourish as it has for many years to come.
"The welcome center will be open starting this week and will be staffed from 10 am to 4 pm daily. You will find our friendly staff to be knowledgeable and ready to support our many visitors and our community during these busy summer months. If there is something they can’t help you with, they will relay your information to the Board and we will follow up accordingly.
