MN Adult & Teen Challenge Brainerd UPDATE 4-24

Mary Brown, the VP of Marketing for Adult & Teen Challenge Minnesota gives us an update after a client in the Brainerd facility was the first COVID-19 positive test in the lakes area. With nearly a month gone by since the positive test was reported, it's been a clean bill of health.

The Brainerd facility as of last week has also once again started accepting new clients. Brown explains why and the protocol for the newcomers.

Brown stated that one staff member that had contact with the client that tested positive did have symptoms of COVID-19 but is fully healthy and back to work. She complimented the community for their support throughout the challenges, while stating that the facility did receive some negative comments toward 'bringing the virus to our area'. The Minnesota Department of Health and CDC both told Adult & Teen Challenge that since they were one of the very few facilities that was able to have tests, it wasn't unorthodox that they would have the first positive case. Brown then talked of moving forward and allowing families to once again visit.

If you or someone you know needs help, or wants to know more about the COVID-19 procedures at Adult & Teen Challenge Minnesota, Brown tells us how to get it.
