Aitkin School Board to discuss Graduation plans, participation at monthly meeting
The Aitkin Public School Board will be holding their regularly monthly meeting Monday night at 7pm from the Aitkin High School Auditorium and via Google Hangouts. The School Board is still allowing no more than 10 people from the public to attend.
Old business will include the 2nd and Final readings of policies including Regulations and Rules for School Activities, Student Activity Participation, Emergency School closings, Student Fundraising, Bullying Prohibition, and Student Medications.
New Business features resignations, retirements, and hirings of extracurricular coaches and teachers. Resolution for the 2020 Edwin Sweetman Scholarships for Karleen Shereck and Carson Wagner will be presented. Motions for the 2020 Graduate List, 2020-21 Farm to School contract, Food Service 2019-2020-2021 Contract, and Discuss & Approve a plan for Graduation for the Class of 2020.
Superintendent Dan Stifter will discuss matters concerning a recent interview with KARE 11’s Boyd Huppert, 2020 Graduation and Board members participation, and Summer Educational Programs.
The Aitkin Public School Board will meet Monday evening at 7pm from the Aitkin High School Auditorium.
