McGregor School Board new hires, talks of graduation at recent meeting
Final Graduation plans and new hires highlighted the McGregor School Board meeting from Monday night. Out-going Superintendent Paul Grams got us up to speed on the creative and inventive plan they have for Graduation of the Class of 2020.
Grams also discussed the final days of Distance Learning for the 2019-20 School Year.
The Board also approved a resolution to establish a referendum for a public vote to take place on Tuesday, August 11th.
The referendum question refers to the issuance of general obligation school building bonds to be used for improving McGregor school facilities.
The Board approved the hiring of Haley Brown for a full-time Speech Pathologist, Mitchell Dyrdahl for high school math, and Serena Litwin as high school secretary for the 2020-21 school year. The Board also officially designated Brad Johnson as Elementary Principal and Superintendent effective July 1st, 2020.
The McGregor School Board will next meet on Monday, June 15th at 6pm.
McGregor High School Graduation will be on Sunday, May 31st at 2pm at will be broadcasted live on KKIN-FM 94.3 and online at rjbroadcasting.com.
