Cuyuna Lakes Lunch Bunch ready for Summer

Once the Summer begins and schools are officially closed, some children will have difficulty getting enough to eat in the Cuyuna Lakes area. Area Churches and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center are returning once again to remedy that problem with the Cuyuna Lakes Lunch Bunch.

Ellen Brandt, member of the St. Joseph Chapter of St Vincent de Paul in Crosby and Deerwood, provided the background of the Lunch Bunch’s 7-year history.

The groups that help with the Lunch Bunch have their own method of getting food to area youth.
