Isle School Board exploring opening schools facilities, Graduation options
The Isle School Board recapped Distance Learning for the 2019-20 School Year, possibly opening up school facilities to the public this Summer, and discussing Graduation options at their meeting Monday night.
Isle Schools Superintendent Dean Kapsner says the end of the school year has presented challenges in Distance Learning.
Summer meal delivery and opening school facilities were discussed mightily at the meeting.
Kapsner notes that the School Board and the Class of 2020 are making all options of graduation available by pushing the date back.
The Isle School Board approved the request to reduce the Graduation Credit Requirements from 26 to 23 credits for the Class of 2020. Noah Johnson was also hired as a Special Education EBD Teacher for the 2020-21 School Year.
The Isle School Board next meets on Monday, June 15th at 6pm.
